Applause

The numbers are in, and the last two years (FY20 and FY21) have been banner years for research funding for our school with $80 million and counting in new awards! Congratulations to the entire SEHD community for making the most of these tumultuous times. As we near the end of FY2022 we are looking at another stellar year from you all.

SERD IES Workshop
Wednesday, July 20th from 2-3 pm the SERD office will be hosting a Zoom webinar for anyone interested in submitting to IES. There will be a brief presentation followed by Q&A and we will provide updated templates and checklists for the FY2023 opportunities.
NSF has proposed changes effective January 2023 to require researchers to create their biosketches and current and pending support using SciENcv. If you would like assistance setting up SciENcv, please contact SERD staff.

Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI Program)– due September 30th
Education and Human Resources (EHR) Core Research – due October 6th

  • IEHR Core Research (ECR) Program Informational Webinar– Program Informational on Tuesday, July 12th from 3-4 pm. ECR Overview + Program Officer tips on Monday, July 25th from 2-3 pm.
  • NIH

    NIH Cycle III starts September 25th! To list a few of the important deadlines: new R01 are due October 5th, new R03 and R21 are due October 16th, and R01 resubmissions are due November 5th.
